You often wonder how accurate these chips will be and if you can rely on them for "navigation." While I would not recommend they be used solely for navigational purposes, I can honestly say that my trips into unfamiliar water proved them to be extremely accurate, not only with channel markings and such, but the depth of the water. I highly recommend this product be used in conjunction with other instruments and charts for a well informed education of your surroundings in new territories.
